The Adopt-A-Student Program (ASP) is a newly formed initiative of Bourgade Catholic and its Advancement Office.  The mission of the ASP is to help students with financial need to attend Bourgade Catholic through the generosity and personal support of a mentor.  The program is designed to provide a quality, faith-based education to students with financial obstacles that prevent them from attending Bourgade Catholic.  Bourgade Catholic believes that every student should have the opportunity to attend high school at an institution where they can express their values and prepare for college.

We are asking members of the Bourgade Catholic community to make this a reality for students and families who simply cannot afford a private education.  Those who become involved in the Adopt-A-Student Program are expected to make a financial committment supporting a BC student for a fixed period of time.  Ideally, this committment would continue through the conclusion of a student's academic career at Bourgade Catholic.  Beyond that, Bourgade Catholic feels that some type of personal interaction between the student and the sponsor should exist.  While this is not a requirement, Bourgade Catholic is confident that a personalized relationship, on any level, would be a driving force in the success of ASP.

Students will be chosen for the program based on the following criteria:
--The desire and motivation for a superior, faith-based education
--The inability to meet the financial obligation of attending a private high school
--A strong committment to continue their education on a college level
