Golden Eagles Win 2010 State Championship

The Golden Eagle Baseball team defeated Camp Verde 6-5 on Saturday night to win the State Baseball Championship.  With the tying run on third base, Senior Eric Martinez fittingly brought his career at Bourgade Catholic to an end by striking out the final batter of the game.  This year marks the baseball team's third consecutive appearance in the State Final Four, and the first State Championship since 1988.  Congratulations to all the players, coaches, and the entire Golden Eagle Baseball Program for a tremendous season!!
