Employment OpportunitiesGifts DirectorBourgade Catholic High School in Phoenix seeks a successful, dynamic and mission-oriented Gifts Director with proven experience as a major gifts officer including leadership level solicitation. This is a full-time position that includes membership on the school’s executive administrative team.
In addition to collaborating with an engaged Advancement Director and Principal, the Gifts Director devotes at least 60% of his/her time cultivating and soliciting major donors for annual giving and endowment. A significant focus for the school is the challenge of increasing corporate giving. The Ideal Candidate Will Have: BA or MA degree in communications, non-profit management, human resources, marketing or a related field; minimum of 5 years of successful professional fundraising experience; experience in leading a strong and successful annual giving program; experience in computer applications databases (ideally Donor Perfect); publication editing and writing experience; and extensive experience soliciting and securing major gifts and planned gifts. Qualifications Required: excellent writing and editing skills; passion for and understanding of Catholic education; excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills; and extreme attention to detail and the ability to balance multiple tasks and competing needs.
