Bourgade Catholic High School Financial Aid Night!
Tuesday, March 30th, 2010 6:30-8:00 p.m.
* A presentation will be made by a representative from the Catholic Tuition Organization of the Diocese of Phoenix (CTODP and the Institute for Better Education (IBE) on their State of Arizona Tax Credit program.
* A brief presentation will be made on other financial aid options.
* Application completion assistance will be available.
* Bring your documentation (tax returns with all schedules, W-2's and a list of household expenses) and the Scholarship application fee with you to the meeting. We will help you complete the forms online or in hard copy, make copies of your documentation and put it in the mail for you! (A credit/debit card is required for CTODP applications.
If you anticipate your family will require financial assistance next school year, you should attend!

The State of Arizona offers taxpayers a credit for contributions made to qualifying private school scholarship organizations. This unique program allows our students several opportunities for financial assistance. Please apply for all of the programs your family qualifies for. Below is information for a variety of these programs.
CTODP--Catholic Tuition Organization of the Diocese of Phoenix
The Catholic Tuition Organization of the Diocese of Phoenix (CTODP) Scholarship Online Applications can be completed right way! CTODP is experiencing a high number of applicants and a shortage of scholarship dollars.

Arizona School Choice Trust
Arizona School Choice Trust funds are awarded based upon financial need. Preference is given for students transferring from Public Schools or Home schooling. The scholarship is renewable annually until graduation but reapplication is required each year. Awards are given based on income guidelines. If your student receives aa scholarship from Arizona School Choice Trust you must resubmit an application each year! New and renewal applications are available at www.asct.org. Awards are given on a "first come-first serve". So, file NOW! Dont miss the May 30th deadline!
Arizona Private Education Scholarship Fund
Donors to this fund can recommend that their Arizona State tax credit dollars be applied toward your student. Many Bourgade Catholic families find donors through family members, business associates and friends. One hundred percent of the tuition cost is eligible for this scholarship. Approximatley 92% of the donation is forwarded to Bourgade Catholic in the student's name to be applied to tuition cost. Less than 10% is retained by the fund to cover administrative costs. A parent cannot contribute for the benefit of their own child. Each student must be registered with the fund through an application process. Contributions may be carried forward to future school years. This fund also offers scholarships based on need. Bourgade Catholic students received awards of $500 - $1000. There is an ONLINE APPLICATION available to complete. Scholarships are distributed in July. Please check the website for application deadlines. Institute for Better Education
Donors to this fund can recommend that their Arizona State tax credit dollars be applied toward your student. Many Bourgade Catholic families find donors through family members, business associates and friends. One hundred percent of the tuition cost is eligible for this scholarship. Ninety percent of the donation is forwarded to Bourgade Catholic in the student's name to be applied to tuition cost. Ten percent is retained by th fund to cover administrative costs. A parent cannot contribute for the benefit of their own child. Each student must be registered with the fund through an applicaion process. Contributions may be carried forward to future school years. This fund also offers scholarships based on need. The Institute for Better Education Application,

Arizona Scholarship Fund
Donors to this fund can recommend that their Arizona State tax credit dollars be applied toward your student. Many Bourgade Catholic families find donors through family members, business associates and friends. One hundred percent of the tuition cost is eligible for this scholarship. Ninety percent of the donation is forwarded to Bourgade Catholic in the student's name to be applied to tuition cost. Ten percent is retained by the fund to cover administrative costs. A parent cannot contribute for the benefit of their own chid. Each student must be registered with the fund through an application process. Contributions may be carried forward to future school years. Distributions are made monthly.

Ninety percent of the donation is forwarded to Bourgade Catholic in the student's name to be applied to tuition cost. Ten percent is retained by the fund to cover administrative costs. A parent cannot contribute for the benefit of their own child. Each student must be registered with the fund through an application process.
