Kelsie Sanborn, Head Varsity Coach
Kelsie Sanborn is a 2012 graduate from Notre Dame Preparatory. Throughout high school she was a multisport athlete achieving many awards. She earned twelve-varsity letters, four in golf, four in basketball, and four in tennis. She was MVP in all three sports her junior and senior years of high school. She won five state championships, two in golf and three in tennis. Kelsie is also a three time Arizona State tennis doubles Champion. She was awarded Athlete of the Year out of all of the seniors at Notre Dame in 2012, as well as achieving the Senior Leadership Award. She was heavily recruited for all three sports in high school, but decided to play golf in college at Grand Canyon University.
Kelsie is a 2016 graduate from Grand Canyon University. There she earned a bachelors degree in Sports Management. She played two years on the golf team at GCU where her team placed fourth in the nation. Kelsie then played on the club basketball team. While playing basketball at GCU, she earned two all tournament MVP awards and her team placed second in the nation. After Graduating from GCU this last year, Kelsie became the head coach of the club team, and had a lot of success winning the National Championship at Ohio State University.
