International Student Program

Bourgade Catholic High School is happy to initiate the International Student Program (ISP). As director of this program it is my job to serve as a liaison between international students and Bourgade Catholic High School. Bourgade Catholic is open to considering students for admission who come to us through an organization such as International Experience, DM Discoveries, or who contact us on an individual basis.

Program Description

Bourgade Catholic High School is a co-ed college preparatory high school of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Phoenix, Arizona, USA. Part of the mission and vision of Bourgade Catholic is to provide a quality Catholic education to a diverse community.

The International Student Program provides Bourgade Catholic the opportunity to welcome international students to be a part of our community. The 2012-2013 academic year will serve as an official start to the International Student Program, although international students have always been welcomed in the Bourgade Catholic community in the past. The ISP program at Bourgade Catholic places a strong emphasis on academics, solidifying students’ English speaking/writing skills, preparing students for college, exposure to the American culture, and providing a quality education in the Catholic tradition. Students in the ISP will be living with host families as they pursue their education at Bourgade Catholic.

Application Process

Individual Applicants

Students interested in applying for admission to Bourgade Catholic High School independently must submit a completed Enrollment Application, the non-refundable $250 registration fee and $40 application fee as well as a translated and updated immunization record to the Director of the International Student Progam.

When the Application and fees are received you will be informed of our decision. If accepted, the I-20 form is issued through the Roman Catholic Diocese of Phoenix.

Agency Applicants

Students applying for admission to Bourgade Catholic High School through an Agency must have a representative of the Agency contact the Director of the International Student Program to initiate the enrollment process.

Please note applying though an agency differs from agency to agency.
