2016 Europe Tour
Two countries, 8 cities, travel by plane, train, bus and ship in 12 days!! Bourgade Catholic students traveled to Spain and Italy with EF tours in June. We visited Madrid, Toledo, Zaragoza and Barcelona in Spain. In Italy we visited Rome, Pompeii, Sorrento and the Isle of Capri.
Our travelers examined the intertwined histories and enduring cultures of Italy and Spain, Mediterranean nations that share an affinity for art, architecture and religion (not to mention mouth-watering cuisine). From the Prado and Park Güell to the Colosseum and Sistine Chapel, we gained new perspectives on these pillars of Europe.
We enjoyed tapas in Spain and pizza, pasta and gelato in Italy! We had personal tours of the Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's as well as St. Paul's Basilica and the Roman catacombs. We walked the excavated town of Pompeii and enjoyed a relaxing day on the Isle of Capri.
Our travelers: Lauren Kuhman ('19), Daniel Perez ('17), Kennedy Munoz ('16), Jose Arzate ('16), Athziri Arzate and Michelle Kuhman. We met recent BCHS graduate Matteo Cozzoli ('16) for dinner and gelato in his home town of Rome! More pictures can be viewed on Facebook at BCHS EF 2016

Students March in Pro-Life Event
On Friday, January 22, student, faculty, and staff representatives of Bourgade Catholic High School participated in a Pro-Life march and rally in downtown Phoenix. While joining several other members of the Arizona Catholic community, students joined hands while walking a two mile stretch in demonstration for their pro-life beliefs. Following the march, students had the privilege of listening to strong testimonials and personal accounts of the impact abortion can have on one's life. In addition to their efforts battling abortion, students were also exposed to a proper experience of demonstrating beliefs. Our students marched and rallied with respect and an open heart. Another great testament to our faith.
