The Golden Eagles Swim Team finished the 2009 season in an amazing fashion at the 1-3A State Championships. Breaking 11 School Records on their way to finishing in 5th Place for the Boys Team & 9th Place for the Girls Team!
Sr., Jordan Lemos became the school's first-ever swimming medalist by finishing 3rd in the 100 breaststroke! Later in the meet, Jordan was joined by Jake Lambros, Bryce Henderson, & Ray Caccavale to win another state meet medal by placing 4th in the 400 Free Relay.
The Girls team was led by Sr., Tricia Kersten taking 8th place in the 100 breaststroke. Also finishing in 8th place was the 400 Free Relay team of Tai Benton, Anni Poetzl, Brittne MacCleary & Nici Richardson. Congratulations to all the Swim Team members on a great finish to an awesome season !!
