Class of 2010 earns over $6 Million in College Scholarships
Forty eight members of the Class of 2010 have earned scholarship money to attend college this fall. This represents 62% of the class and collectively they have earned $6,273,718 in scholarship monies to date. This class also features 2 National Merit Commended scholars (Joshua Gonzales & Rodrigo Silva) of which 1 was named National Hispanic Merit Scholar and the other a National Hispanic Commended Scholar. Ninety-nine percent of the class will be going on to some type of higher education including universities such as Barrett Honors College at ASU, Walter Cronkite College of Journalism at ASU, NAU, U of A, St. Johns University (NY), Hawaii Pacific University, Embry Riddle University and Grand Canyon University.
