Legacy Scholarships
Greg Henke Memorial Scholarship Fund

Greg Henke was a beloved mentor, coach, friend, father and husband. To ensure his legacy lives on through Bourgade's history, the Henke family has established a memorial scholarship fund in hopes of reaching $20,000 to have the scholarship endowed. Once endowed, a scholarship or scholarships will be awarded on an annual basis to help Bourgade Catholic students with tuition assistance. Peter van Leeuwen Scholarship Fund

An endowment was started in 1994 in memory of Peter and funds an annual scholarship to a student at Bourgade Catholic who characterizes the same academic excellence that Peter did.

Mary Palsma Scholarship Fund

Class of 1977 Legacy Fund
The Class of 1977 Legacy Fund was established in memory of the deceased members of the class. The 1977 Legacy Fund exists to provide scholarship funding to a student with a relative who graduated in the 1970s (1970-1979).

Class of 1979 Legacy Fund
The Class of 1979 Legacy Fund was established in memory of the deceased members of the class. The 1979 Legacy Fund provides an annual scholarship award to a current or incoming student who is related to a Bourgade Catholic alumni of any era.

Class of 1966 Scholarship Fund
The Bourgade Catholic High School Class of 1966 Scholarship, was established by the first graduating class of Bourgade Catholic High School to honor their classmates. This $1,000 scholarship will be awarded once per year and is a one time only award.

The eligibility criterion includes:
- Be a graduating senior
- Not be related to anyone on the BCHS staff
- Be in good academic standing with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 based on a 4.0 scale.
- Plan to enroll as a full time undergraduate at an institute of higher learning for the following semester
- Have completed 30 hours of volunteer work within the given school year
- Have not received any other scholarship or grant money to attend college for the following semester
Criterion on which the scholarship selection is based:
- Academic achievement
- Personal statement
- Community service
- All applications will be reviewed by the faculty of BCHS
